Figaro came to the THS as a semi-feral kitten in October 2007. Staff and volunteers worked to socialize him and they have done a great job! The THS website says that he will hiss and spit and put on a show when first approached, but I have never seen this. In fact, he doesn't really look interested in you at all until you start petting him. Then he is all purrs! He is quiet and shy, and should go to an experienced owner that will give him time to settle into his new life. He also also become a bit plump and could stand to lose some extra weight. imagine how happy he would be to be out of there??? sit in a window to look at birds... sleep on a bed...! someone has to save this lovely cat!
